The Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team is always ready and available to assist our county and citizens during time of crisis. During COVID-19 BCLTRT has responded to the need in a few different ways that have made a huge impact on the community we serve.

On March 17th at the request of Bastrop County Office of Emergency Management BCLTRT set up an Emergency Hotline for COVID-19. Citizens of the county are able to call and get various questions answered, regarding testing, mandates, closures, etc. 512-303-4300.

BCLTRT has also started a service that allows our most vulnerable population to remain safe in their homes. In coordination with the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry we started the Bastrop County Senior Delivery Service and have provided over 2500 lbs of food to seniors throughout Bastrop County.

Case Management is now available for families that have been financially affected by COVID-19.  Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team is available to provide financial assistance to individuals and families who have suffered a reduction or loss of income as a direct result of the current COVID-19 crisis. These emergency funds will help those in need cover costs associated with food, rent/mortgage payments, childcare and medical expenses.
